Description
Today’s Les Paul Custom is based on the model from the mid-1950s, but with several modern appointments. The hand-carved bound Maple top is fitted to a Mahogany body with strategically routed holes to reduce weight and improve resonance. The Mahogany neck is topped by a 22-fret Richlite fingerboard outfitted with acrylic block inlays for the classic Les Paul Custom look. Dual Gibson Humbuckers are wired to individual Volume and Tone controls, then to a three-way toggle for easy access to all the classic LP tones you’d expect from a Custom! Gold hardware, including the traditional Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, completes the package.
